Laurel Thomson was born and raised in the beautiful state of Hawaii. There she was a member of the well known dance company 24-7 Danceforce, under the direction of Marcelo Pacleb. There she got proficient in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Hip Hop. Right out of high school she went to work for Tokyo Disney as an aerialist. In returning to the states, being new to the professional world of dance she was hired to do Janet Jackson’s Superbowl Halftime Show. Knowing Los Angeles was the place to be she shortly moved to completely pursue the career she only dreamed of. There she had the pleasure to train under greats like Gil Duldulao, Tovaris Wilson, Rhapsody James, Luther Brown and Kevin Maher to name a few. She has continued to dance for Janet in 3 other world tours and has worked along artists such as Trey Songz, Neyo, Jennifer Lopez, Ludacris, New Kids On The Block, and Ciara. Now being in this business for 11 years, she has stepped into the world of assisting and direction and is excited to see that completely flourish. Dance continues and will always be her passion and life!
